Students’ needs are met at the level they enter the program- beginners who know no English, somewhat knowledgeable persons or more advanced students.

Facilities
Volunteers work with the parish and school staff on minor cleaning, maintenance and repair projects as needed. The projects are coordinated through the Campus Manager. With a campus as large as St. Mary’s, a wide variety of skills are needed to maintain the properties:
Landscaping and Yard Work
Weekly lawn and garden maintenance includes mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, raking and pruning . These tasks are scheduled regularly and can be completed on weekdays or weekends. Occasionally, larger landscape projects require additional volunteers.
Painting and Carpentry
Painting projects are ongoing and carpentry skills are needed for minor repairs and maintenance.
Brick Masons
Our historic buildings and perimeter walls require maintenance and repair. Volunteers proficient in brick and tile work are needed.
