Recurring Gifts

The St. Mary Parish is now set-up to accept Offertory gifts through EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).

Sign up today and enjoy this safe, convenient and free way to make offertory donations.  No more checks to write, no more envelopes to find.  Your donations will come to us even when you are on vacation or unable to attend

Your gift will go further than ever before because our income will be more predictable, and our administrative costs will be reduced.

You will continue to receive monthly envelopes so you can participate in special collections at your discretion. You may change the amount of your gift at any time.

Pledges

Pledges are gift commitments paid over a period of time according to a prearranged payment schedule. Contact us to set-up a pledge program that will work for you.

Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs that match donations by current and retired employees. If you are interested in such a gift, please contact the employer for proper procedure. Once the gift is made to Basilica of St. Mary, we will be happy to confirm the contribution with your employer for the match. A matching gift may double your gift to the annual fund.

Stocks, Securities & Mutual Fund Shares

Gifts in the form of appreciated securities are tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations. To transfer stocks or bonds, please contact the Diocese of Raleigh’s ministry of parish stewardship at (984) 900-3425.

Planned Giving

Gifts through estate planning are a great and often easy way to support Basilica of Saint Mary today and into the future. Bequests, gift annuities, life insurance and other financial vehicles are available, often with substantial tax advantages for the donor and their heirs.
